A Call to Action for Future Generations

A fundraiser for United Way of Delaware (UWDE)

$4,355 raised from 31 donors

$2,400 goal

I’m reaching out to all of you as my friends and colleagues for your support on this very important day of Do More 24 Delaware. Do More 24 is a high impact day for Delaware where we are using each hour, for 24 hours to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

My goal for the next 24 hours is to raise $100 for each hour of Do More 24 Delaware. Together, we can make an impact!

I personally have been supporting United Way of Delaware for the last 15 years and I’m proud to now be a member of the United Way team. As you know, I believe strongly in helping others and especially helping others have a fair opportunity for a promising future.

With your support, we can create greater opportunities for every third grader to read on grade level, every teen to finish high school with a path to college or a career, and we can help our neighbors become financially stable and empowered.

I know that you are busy and time is valuable. For your convenience, I’ve included easy select buttons above where you can begin donating at 6pm today. I hope you will be an important part of the next 24 hours of giving because together we can do more!

Warmest regards and many thanks!

About United Way of Delaware (UWDE)

Mission: At United Way of Delaware, we're answering the call to help our community thrive. We're working to ensure kids can read on grade level by third grade, support career and college success for youth, connect families to vital resources through Delaware 211, and empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. It’s about creating lasting change that lifts up everyone, not just offering temporary fixes.

When you give to United Way of Delaware you are helping children and families. Whether it's a kindergartner who lacks the resources to learn remotely, or a family calling 2-1-1 seeking immediate shelter, United Way of Delaware has initiatives in the community that make an impact in the lives of real people.
