We are deeply committed to serving the city and state in which we perform by offering inspiring and creative main stage productions in The Grand Opera House while also bringing top-tier performances outside the walls of the theater and into the Delaware community at large. Our engagement and education programs bring the magic of live opera into communities where access to the arts is limited. Your donation supports initiatives like Pop-Up Opera (traveling concerts that bring world-class talent to perform at healthcare facilities, community centers, neighborhood associations, and community service organizations on our cherry red opera cart), our Hometown Heroes program which provides free tickets to frontline workers, educators, and non-profit partners and the Neighborhood Choir initiative, a collaboration with the Wilmington Children’s Chorus, which provides music education for Delaware children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to be included in the arts.
