- Time matters when you’re trying to rescue someone trapped in a burning home…it can be a matter of life or death for a victim
- The thermal imaging cameras allow firefighters to “see” through smoke to identify victims—versus blindly using hand sweeps to feel their way through a smoke-filled building.
- Thermal imaging cameras also help firefighters find fire between walls or in hidden spaces. Quickly finding a fire means faster extinguishing and less potential damage and most importantly the loss of life.
About Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Company
Mission: Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Company's mission is to provide leadership and support to reduce the loss of life and property and protect our district from all types of hazards through a comprehensive all hazards emergency response program. The program consists of fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency medical response and emergency management for our district citizens.
Our vision is to have a fire department which will be in every way, the finest in our state. We will be able to successfully respond to and bring into control any emergency. We will be viewed by our fellow citizens as a major asset in our community. We will consistently fulfill our motto of “Service for Others”.
