Help protect children from abuse, one donation at a time.

A fundraiser for Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children

$100 raised from 1 donor

$10,000 goal

On a quiet beach after a powerful storm, a child was observed tossing starfish that had washed ashore, back into the ocean, one by one. A woman approached and asked, “Why are you doing this? There are thousands of starfish here – you can’t possibly save them all.” The child looked at the woman, picked up another starfish, and tossed it back into the sea. “I just saved that one,” replied the child, with quiet determination.

This Giving Tuesday, you are invited to embody the same spirit – to recognize the power of saving one child.

The starfish story reminds us of a simple truth: every life saved, every child protected, makes a difference.

Your donation on Giving Tuesday will:

  • Educate children on internet safety, protecting them from online predators.
  • Fund workshops and programs in schools and youth-serving organizations for adults and children.

Your donation changes lives. Your gift of:

  • $6.25 provides internet safety training to one child
  • $500 trains that child’s whole class to stay safe online

You can transform a child’s life. Donate and give a child the chance to thrive, just like the starfish who made it safely back to the ocean. Together, we can protect one child, then another… then another.

Help turn the tide against child abuse – one child at a time.

Thank you for being the light in a child’s life this Giving Tuesday. Your compassion and commitment to the ideals that Beau Biden believed will make all the difference for children, families and communities.

About Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children

Mission: We believe that child abuse can be prevented through effectively educating adults and children, developing the next generation of child welfare professionals, and strengthening child protection laws around the country.

The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children® was founded in 2015 to honor Delaware's 44th Attorney General, Beau Biden, and his commitment to end violence against children.

We believe child abuse can be prevented by:
•   creating effective child abuse prevention education for adults and children;

The Foundation’s focus on child abuse prevention education helps:
•   youth-serving organizations assess and improve their child protection policies, procedures, and programming.

•   to educate children in good digital citizenship, Internet safety, and bullying prevention.
