I’m fundraising for The Everett Theater.

Building upon the amazing talent and technical resources of The Everett performers and technicians, the goals of the filmmaking program are:
  • To foster the creation of original material stories and scripts;
  • To create a student filmmaking educational program focusing on the basics of storytelling, cinematography, production, and editing;
  • To create two short films of the highest quality possible each year, with the goal of submission to festivals.
These pillars will be built organically and will seek to encourage the participation of those interested in acting on camera and learning to work behind the camera. The Everett uses this program to involve the community in the highly collaborative art of filmmaking in much the same way it is involved in our live stage productions; the filmmaking program aims to provide opportunities for community members to learn about the entire process of making a film.
