The ARK Afterschool Tutoring Program has grown to serve increasingly more low-income and vulnerable students who struggle academically. Our Parent Connect, Emerald Princesses, Boys 2 Men, and Sound Engineering Technology groups serve both the parents and students, offering a holistic approach to a stronger family, stronger students, stronger community! We are proud to serve!
About The ARK Educational Resource Center
Mission: In our committed efforts of providing grade level reading and math skills through one-on-one tutoring, our goal is to help our youth develop academically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually in order to become responsible, productive adults.
The ARK Educational Resource Center After-School Tutoring Program, located in a low-income, single parent, rural community, offers services for the entire family: Parent Information and Resource Group Meetings; Boys 2 Men Teen Leadership Groups; and Emerald Princesses Teen Girls Group. We also serve the community by providing free filled backpacks to the community each year in August at our free Back to School Jamboree to prepare students for the new school year, while helping parents absorb the cost of school supplies.
