The Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance has served the state of Delaware and surrounding regions for over 65 years.
Giving during the 24 Hours between 6pm on March 3rd, and 6pm on March 4th will support us in:
- Providing training, dancewear, shoes, and transportation for our Scholarship Students
- The continued expansion of our weekly arts educational, intergenerational program offerings, and bolstered development of community engagement and services.
- The ability to bring working professional artists, and arts industry personnel into the community, for diversified arts education and performance opportunities
- Producing an annual, dynamic, multicultural production of The Nutcracker at The Playhouse on Rodney Square, with a LIVE orchestra; providing our diverse casts of students and community members, and regional audiences with a memorable professional experience.
- General operating support to continue mitigating the effects of the ongoing pandemic.
