We are committed to nurturing a growth mindset, fostering character development, and breaking the cycle of poverty through holistic, tuition-free education.

In September of 2003, Nativity Preparatory School of Wilmington proudly opened its doors to 15 eager and enthusiastic fifth and sixth graders, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. Now, entering its Third Decade, Nativity Prep reflects on its rich history of empowering young minds. Since its inception, Nativity Prep has nurtured 18 graduating classes, boasting a remarkable tally of 172 alumni.

In June 2010, Nativity witnessed the inaugural graduation of its first cohort, as they completed their senior year of high school and embarked on the next chapter of their academic journey in college. Fast forward to the 2023-2024 academic year, with 54 students enrolled, Nativity continues its mission of providing a nurturing environment for low-income boys of all faiths in grades five through eight.

At its core, Nativity Prep is dedicated to the profound task of transforming lives. Through an extended day and year, coupled with high expectations, values formation, a robust summer program, and rigorous academic standards, Nativity equips its students to thrive as active participants in their evolving communities. Embodying the motto "be who you are and be that well," Nativity graduates emerge as productive, fulfilled, and dynamic members of society, a testament to the school's enduring legacy of excellence and impact.
