The Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware is a nonprofit organization that improves communities in Delaware by giving a “hand up, not a hand out” with necessary repairs and simple, decent tiny houses, accessory dwelling units and small scale actions that lead to big changes to increase housing.
Our mission is to create vibrant, sustainable communities with affordable, quality housing options that empower individuals and families to thrive. Our ministry is driven by the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home, near where they work, learn, play, and pray at a price their salary/income allows them to afford.
Mission: The Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware is a nonprofit organization that improves communities in Delaware by giving a “hand up, not a hand out” with necessary repairs and simple, decent tiny houses, accessory dwelling units and small scale actions that lead to big changes to increase housing.

Imagine living in a home where your roof leaks, your plumbing’s broken, and the floors are falling apart. Maybe there’s a big yellow notice taped to your door—telling you your home isn’t safe. In Delaware, more than 25,000 homes are like this, leaving families living in constant danger. This isn’t just an inconvenience. It’s a crisis.
For families living paycheck to paycheck, fixing these homes isn’t an option. Do you pay the rent or buy food, fix the roof or take care of their kids’ health? Without repairs, homes crumble and put lives at risk.
And it’s not just families—veterans face this too. Without safe housing, they’re more likely to struggle with mental health, even to the point of suicide.
When homes aren’t safe, it hurts everyone. It leads to higher healthcare costs, more crime, and kids falling behind in school. But when we fix homes, we fix lives—and your whole community benefits.
That’s where the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware comes in. We’re not just fixing houses—we’re changing lives. With the help of volunteers and generous donors, the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware gives families the chance to rebuild their homes, and their futures.
Through our two main programs, Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware provides a lifeline for those who need it most. One program, Tiny Home Villages for Veterans, offers veterans a safe, supportive community where they can heal and rebuild their lives.
The other program, the Greater Blessings Repair Program, is the focus of this campaign. The Greater Blessings Repair Program helps families stay in their homes by making the repairs they simply can’t afford. We fix roofs, floors, windows—anything that makes a house unsafe. These repairs restore hope and give people the dignity they deserve.
Picture this: A family with kids, living in a house with broken windows and a roof that leaks every time it rains. They’re constantly worried. But with your help, the Greater Blessings Repair Program, delivers a happy ending and a new start.
After a repair, families can sleep soundly at night. Parents don’t have to worry about broken floors or leaky ceilings. Grandparents don’t have to fear falling down their stairs. These repairs don’t just fix a house—they restore safety and security.
It costs an average of $4,000 to repair a substandard home. And the need is huge—there are far more homes in need of repair than we have resources to fix.
That’s why, during this Do More 24 campaign, our goal is to fix at least a dozen homes. These aren’t just repairs—they’re life-saving, life-changing acts of kindness.
The Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware operates without government funding. Zero. We believe in a grassroots, community-driven approach, where every dollar goes directly to housing projects. By relying on donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations, we ensure that your support has the maximum impact.
We’re a community, working together to break the cycle of poverty housing. Through volunteer efforts and faith-driven support, we empower individuals to build a better future.
Every gift, big or small, helps invest in your community. Families stay in their homes, seniors age in place with dignity, and veterans get the support they need.
Your generosity will give families the security they need to build a better future. Whether it’s fixing a roof, installing ramps, or putting in a new floor, you’re giving more than just a repair. You’re giving hope.
Together, we can reach our goal of fixing a dozen homes in six months. And together, we can make Delaware a place where everyone has a safe and comfortable place they call home.
Join us in turning these houses into homes. With your help, we can restore comfort, hope, and safety to families in Delaware.
Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. When you give, you’re not just helping to fix a house—you’re helping to rebuild lives. Together, we can create a community where everyone feels secure, loved, and valued.
Your gift today will change lives forever. Let’s make Delaware a place where everyone has a safe, affordable home. Together, we can create a better future for all.
Your heart. Your support. Your gift. It matters. Together, we can turn dreams into reality. Invest in your community today. Change a life forever.
