About The Jason Anderson Foundation for Youth Sports

The Jason Anderson Foundation for Youth Sports, a 501c(3) tax exempt not-for-profit organization, was founded by the Anderson family after Jason tragically died in an automobile accident in January of 2015 at the age of 33.  His last second actions saved the lives of his wife, Kati, and one year old son, Ryan. The outpouring of support for the family from friends, colleagues, co-workers, neighbors and gracious members of the community prompted the family and close friends to establish this foundation in Jason’s name as a way to give back to that community.

Since 2016 we have provided over $95,000 in grants and scholarships to local Delaware sports organizations giving nearly 900 kids the opportunity to participate in a sport.  It is also important to note that 100% of the donations we receive go back into the community as all foundation expenses are paid for by the Anderson family or donated by our service partners.
