PBP employs an empowerment model whereby individuals make choices to meet their basic needs, to avail themselves of opportunities, and to avail themselves of resources to create a better and sustainable future for themselves and their family.
Peace By Piece Inc. was founded in 2017 with the intention of creating a space to elevate the voices and empower our most vulnerable communities in Delaware. Our first operational program was the Peers Mentoring Center, an evidence based reentry model that effectively serves to empower and stabilize our transitional populations and solidly reunify families through economic development and workforce reintegration. Our supportive housing program would follow in implementation and our workforce development programs integrated into a myriad of partnerships. Our Vocational training program was our latest addition adding a skilled laborer construction training program and an indoor vertical farming operation as well. In 2020 Peace By Piece Inc. played an integral role in the crisis triage of over 330 homeless Delawareans during our Phase I COVID state response. Growing and demonstrating agency agility has been our banner and guided by sound leadership and an engaged and prominent Board of Directors, PBP seeks to expand our impact and reach every Delawarean in need of our quality care.
