Stretch Pool

Stretch Pool Current Value = $75,000
Donations will be "stretched" thanks to our Stretch Pool Sponsors
Stretch Pool Sponsors

Thanks to our most generous supporters, every eligible organization that raises $5 or more on Do More 24 Delaware will receive matching dollars on a proportionate basis from the stretch pool, thanks to Spur Impact, United Way of Delaware, Longwood Foundation, Welfare Foundation, Laffey-McHugh Foundation, Delaware Community Foundation, and other community supporters. Your organization's portion of the "stretch" depends on how much is raised in total donations. For example, if your organization receives 3% of the total donations raised by all organizations participating on Do More 24 Delaware, then your organization will receive 3% of the stretch pool. The formula for the stretch pool is: (Individual Charity's Amount Raised / Total Amount Raised on Do More 24 Delaware from eligible orgs) x Total Amount in Stretch Pool = Individual Charity's Share of Stretch Pool.

In addition to the stretch pool funds, there will be other cash and non-cash prizes awarded throughout the day, thanks to our many sponsors and supporting organizations.  Organizations eligible to receive funding from the DDOA Stretch Pool (Large or Small Division) will not be eligible for the general stretch pool.

*We are working to calculate these amounts for everyone and will be in touch with the organizational captains soon with those results.

Delaware Division of the Arts Stretch Pool & Incentive Grants

Delaware Division of the Arts Stretch Pool & Grant Incentives*
Thanks to the Delaware Division of the Arts (DDOA), arts nonprofits receiving general operating support funding through DDOA in FY21 will be eligible for the DDOA stretch pool and donation-based bonus grants as described below. DDOA grantees eligible for these awards will receive these funds directly from the Division of the Arts after the event results are finalized.

DDOA Stretch Pool, Small Nonprofit Division (Supported through the Delaware Division of the Arts, Total Value = $200,000).

Every DDOA grantee organization with a budget less than $500k that raises $5 or more on Do More 24 Delaware will be eligible to receive matching dollars on a proportionate basis from the DDOA Stretch Pool, Small Nonprofit Division. An eligible organization's portion of the "stretch" depends on how much is raised in total donations. For example, if an organization receives 3% of the total donations raised by all eligible organizations in the DDOA Small Nonprofit Division, then that organization will receive 3% of the stretch pool. The formula for the stretch pool is: (Individual Charity's Amount Raised / Total Amount Raised on Do More 24 Delaware by the DDOA Grantees, Small Nonprofit Division) x Total Amount in Stretch Pool = Individual Charity's Share of Stretch Pool. Only nonprofits that are in the DDOA Grantee sector category with an annual operating budget of $500,000 or less will be eligible for this award. Organizations eligible for the DDOA Stretch Pool will not be eligible for the event's general stretch pool but will be able to win other eligible prizes through the giving day event.
